This week has been far too hot for most of us in our non-air conditioned office. We do have an aircon unit but it spends it’s time trying to keep our servers cool. We have to rely on the time honoured technique called “Opening the windows”.
So the social committee decided we should have an afternoon picnic in Regents Park, just up the road from the office.

Originally we wanted to play softball but the heat was a bit much.
Oli was hoping he would get to hit something...
Mostly it was the tech team but we managed to persuade our CEO Lopo, and Kristina + Lucy from our Supply / Ops team.

Instead we laid around for a while and then played some frisbee.

This last Monday the tech team paid a visit to bloomsbury bowling.
Is has to be said yours truly was pretty rubbish, coming last in both of the games.

Fortunately I was able to beat everybody quite soundly at table football (ah, those dot com years spent so well) so felt better about the whole thing.
Much drinking and eating then ensued. Most enjoyable.
